Plenum fans are designed for general HVAC applications where large volumes of clean air are required at low to moderate pressures. Plenum Fans are an excellent choice for efficient delivery of high air volumes in contained air handling systems. Backward inclined or aerofoil impellers provide high efficiency, performance and sound characteristics needed for the most stringent HVAC applications. With housed or open designs, as well as belt or direct drive options, plenum fans provide the flexibility to match the performance and application at the highest efficiency.
For smaller units, their compact design is often complemented through the use of readily controllable EC motors.
